Welcome to the League
Welcome to the Washington County Sportsmen & Conservation League, an area non-profit that seeks to maintain, improve, and enhance the rights and abilities of area sportsmen.
The purposes of this League are: the preservation, protection and propagation of game, fish, and forests; the enforcement of the game laws; the inculcation of the highest standards of sportsmanship; the promotion of friendly relations between sportsmen and land owners; and the conservation of wildlife and natural resources in general.
Our next scheduled meeting will be on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at 7:30PM at the Washington Crown Center.
The organization is a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Sportsmen's Clubs. We are made up of members from local sportsmen clubs throughout Washington County -- including members of Ducks Unlimited, Ruffed Grouse Society, and Pheasants Forever -- and we get involved wherever possible.
We host an annual sports show at the Washington Crown Center and invite guest speakers to our monthly meetings who represent Game and Fish commissions and other walks of life.
We are also highly engaged with our youth. We sponsor youth members on the Governor's Youth Council, we hold youth pheasant hunts, and we donate to various Youth Field Days.
